Barrow Appraisal Associates offers machinery and equipment appraisals, and cost surveys both here and abroad. Our President, Kal Barrow, has over 40 years experience appraising machinery and equipment, and performing cost segregation analyses of buildings, structures, and land improvements.

Expert Witness

An FDIC and United States Marshals Service approved appraiser, Mr. Barrow has qualified as an expert witness before various courts and Tax Appeal Boards in California, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas.

 

Worldwide

Mr. Barrow has appraised machinery and equipment and provided cost surveys throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, the Caribbean, Israel, Australia and Europe.

 

ASA Member

A President of the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers for two separate terms, Kal Barrow serves currently as the Chapter's First Vice President. He has been elected as a Life Member to the Society, and is also a member of their Speaker's Bureau and its Publication and Editorial Review Board. He is a past Chairperson of ASA's International Publications Committee and its International Public Relations Committee, and is currently Vice-chair Machinery & Technical Specialties of the Board of Examiners. Mr. Barrow is author of the current examination in Technical Valuation - Cost Surveys and is a popular instructor, speaker and author for ASA and other organizations.
